Gilnar's slim fast story
I'm always dieting, constantly doing it. My husband mocks me, saying things like "What the hell are you up to? Which kind of diet are we doing today?" But then I did Slim.Fast and it worked really well. I was surprised at how easy it is - not nearly as hard as I'd expected. I was eating muesli bars for two of my meals and was really surprised that they filled me up. I also had the 2 snacks each day which was great. And as I saw the results really quickly I was so happy to continue because I knew it was working. I just thank god that the food is tasty and not like cardboard! I was also really impressed by the nutritional content. There are so many different vitamins in these meals, more than I'd be getting normally in fact! I really like the effort that they put into it - that there is some science behind it. So anyway, the results were great. My hips went down by 12 centimetres and so I tried to fit into those jeans! These are the jeans that have always been in my cupboard - the ones that I always pull out and go "oh god" and put them away quickly. But I put them on and they fit! Snugly but they did fit. One week later they fit me properly and I was so happy that I called my sister in Sydney! I feel much better now that I've lost some weight. You feel nicer in your clothes and it gives you added confidence. I'm more relaxed, more sociable, and not so moody! I'm just a happier person.
Jane's Slim Fast Story
Slim.Fast is one of the easiest diets I've ever followed. I'm quite a lazy person when it comes to measuring and counting, but this was dead easy.
It was great for me because I saw results faster than I ever have before. I got a real high when, after just a week of doing it, those jeans aren't as tight anymore!
After just a week my hips had gone right down. I'd lost 4cm and could really feel it in my clothes. My hips and bum have always been a bit of a bane for me, but having lost some weight I feel much better about myself. It really affects my confidence too. When I'm at my heaviest I don't go out as much, I search for clothes that hide everything, wear long tops, dark colours, but if you lose half a stone you think, 'brilliant - I can wear a white top'!
The Slim.Fast plan just suits me. Now that I've lost some weight I can use it to help me stay this way. I like the flexibility - the way I can live a little bit and then make up for it afterwards!
