Symone's Slim Fast Story
If anyone had asked me to try Slim.Fast I'd have said "no thanks". I'd heard about it before and thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but it worked because I adapted it for me and my lifestyle.
The results were fantastic - I lost 7 pounds in 4 weeks. The first week was all beautiful. I was thinking 'it's great, I'm doing it now, but can I be bothered to keep going through next week?' But after my first weigh-in of course I was bothered! I'd dropped a couple of inches around my waist and hips and my BMI had reduced as well. The fact that I lost those inches really made a difference. I started dressing differently, wearing my belts a bit lower, showing off my waist, pulling other things out of the wardrobe that I'd not worn for ages.
I could wear my clothes again and that really was a high moment. I love fashion and I love shopping for clothes. It was such a nice feeling going shopping and knowing that I could fit into those things that I really wanted to wear.
Slim.Fast really helped me to make the effort to lose weight. It helped me change my habits, it's easy to follow and easy to adapt to fit your lifestyle. It's funny but it's really done something to me - I've made this great start and not only am I keeping it up but I'm even going to the gym twice a week now!
